Notice on ‘On The Day’ Appointments
Our Emergency on the day ANP appointments release at 8am every morning when our phone lines open.
Our GP appointments are all bookable in advance, you cannot book an on the day GP appointment.
More recently, we have had patients coming to the surgery at 8am to book an on the day appointment which has an effect on the patient’s waiting on the telephone for an appointment.
Going forward, and as of Monday 20th May 2024, we would like to request that all patients requiring an on the day appointment telephone the surgery at 8am in the first instance to get an emergency on the day appointment with the ANP. We appreciate there can be long wait times on the telephone and after receiving feedback, we are working hard to ensure we monitor staffing levels at peak times to ensure your call is answered as quick as possible.
If you are over 70, or have a child under 5 years of age or you fall into a vulnerable category we will still book your appointment at the desk on the day, however we will be encouraging patient’s to contact us via telephone going forward if they require an on the day emergency appointment.
